Experience:
3–5 Years PQE | Real Estate & Asset-Based Lending
An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Real Estate Lending Associate (3–5 years PQE) to join its expanding finance team in either New York or Charlotte. This is a client-facing role offering exposure to high-value transactions and sophisticated lender-side work.
About The Team Join a nationally recognized group representing major financial institutions in real estate-secured and asset-based lending transactions. The team supports clients across industries with a collaborative, business-minded approach and a strong pipeline of deals nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Represent lenders in the origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans
Draft and negotiate loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, and security documents
Review title, survey, and due diligence materials
Advise on structuring and execution of real estate and asset-backed financing transactions
Who You Are
3–5 years of real estate finance experience, ideally on the lender side
Comfortable managing deal flow and drafting loan documentation
Familiar with both real estate and personal property collateral structures
Admitted to the NY or NC Bar (or eligible to waive in)
JD from a respected law school with strong academic credentials
Compensation Salary Range:
$230,000 – $320,000 (DOE)
