Leasing Consultant
EPM's Leasing Consultants are essential to the property's overall success, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring resident satisfaction. The Leasing Consultant will ensure efficient operations by meeting leasing and financial goals while delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Job Functions
Provides exemplary customer service to all residents, proactively solving issues and creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Abides by federal fair housing standards and all applicable laws.
Develops professional skills, seeking continual growth and learning from mistakes.
Embodies company policies and procedures in all interactions.
Presents a professional image and effectively represents the company to residents, vendors, and owners.
Operates computers and other technology on site.
Represents the community on the phone and in written communication.
Greets residents, maintains a neat office, and serves as a point of contact.
Completes prospective resident tours, showcasing the property with pride.
Resolves issues in a timely manner with a focus on customer service.
Responds to issues outside of normal work schedule when required to ensure safety and satisfaction of residents.
Drives property performance by participating in resident events, marketing the property, and focusing on resident retention.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Effectively manage the community's reputation via social media, direct communication, and marketing.
Primary communicator to prospects, residents, vendors, and the market.
Constantly learn and find ways to improve traffic, leasing, and total income.
Work with passion and take pride in duties.
Effective listener who offers helpful solutions.
Show great energy, enjoy challenges, and set and reach new goals.
Collaborate with Community Director to achieve property goals.
Education & Experience
Preferred: 1 year of multi-family property management experience.
Preferred: Previous leasing experience.
Customer Experience Specialists or related fields encouraged to apply.
Previous experience working with a team to meet success.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Frequently sit, stand, walk, and talk.
Frequently use hands or fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls.
Occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Vision: close, distance, peripheral, ability to adjust focus.
Noise level: moderate.
Temperature: moderate; must withstand seasonal cold and heat outdoors.
Travel Requirements Travel up to 5% of the time.
