Fi is looking for a Staff Accountant! We're looking for a Staff Accountant to support and scale Fi's financial, this role you'll own key accounting processes end to end including accounts payable, vendor relationships, expense reporting, inventory tracking, billing and compliance while partnering closely with teams across Fi to ensure transactions are accurate, well‑documented and properly classified. You'll operate with real ownership and judgment using data reconciliations and process improvements to bring clarity to complex financial workflows and help build scalable systems that support how Fi operates today and where its headed next.

What You’ll Do:

Manage full‑cycle accounts payable including processing, verifying and reconciling invoices and ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.

Own vendor relationships including contract management, onboarding and handling internal and external inquiries.

Process cash and credit card transactions with accurate and timely data entry.

Partner cross‑functionally to ensure proper coding, classification and documentation of all financial transactions.

Review and audit employee expense reports in accordance with the company’s expense policy.

Support inventory accounting including weekly tracking and updates.

Prepare and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts as part of the monthly close process.

Prepare monthly sales tax returns and assist with annual 1099 filings.

Manage B2B billing requests and support the Customer Experience team with billing‑related inquiries.

Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma) to support financial reporting and analysis.

Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot discrepancies, identify root causes and recommend process improvements.

Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and support ongoing process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Minimum 1 year of corporate accounting experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities with the ability to investigate issues and propose solutions.

Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.

Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks, Tableau or Sigma is a plus.

$70,000 - $85,000 a year The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000–$85,000. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors including skills, experience, market conditions and role scope which may evolve during the hiring process. As a fast‑growing Series B startup, Fi evaluates compensation opportunistically to align with the right candidate. This role is also eligible for equity compensation.
