HR Vendor Risk Manager – Fidelity Investments
As a member of the HR Vendor Management team, you will independently drive vendor risk initiatives supporting Enterprise HR. This role focuses on vendor risk, compliance, analytics, and other HR Vendor Management-related initiatives for the HR vendor portfolio, collaborating with HR Vendor Managers, HR Business Partners, CST, HR Risk, VROCOE, ISO, ECS, and other key partners.
The Team You will partner with Vendor Managers to hold external vendors accountable through risk oversight, improving risk-based decision making for our portfolio and enhancing the strategic role of our centralized team.
Expertise You Have
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent relevant experience.
5‑7 years of proven experience in Vendor Management, Compliance, or Risk-related roles.
Extensive Fidelity expertise and proven ability to interact with all organization levels.
Skills You Bring
Excellent communication, facilitation, influence, negotiation, and executive presence.
Ability to independently drive sophisticated vendor initiatives with minimal oversight.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deliver timely results.
Capability to develop partnerships with peers, leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Background in HR, Vendor Management, Compliance, or Risk processes.
Eagerness to contribute to process, guideline, and standard development across a dynamic organization.
Willingness to promote vendor management standards and assist with compliance/risk documentation, analytics, improvements, and technical enhancements.
Mentorship experience for junior team members in risk and compliance areas.

Coordinate, monitor, and ensure timely compliance of all vendor risk activities (BCP, SOC Reviews, VTR Program, AI, Architecture, Vulnerabilities & High‑Risk areas).
Leverage a data‑driven approach for proactive vendor portfolio oversight.
Provide strategic oversight of reporting and analytical needs across the team.
Maintain deep knowledge of overall risk profiles and contribute to risk event resolution.
Oversee and enforce the Enterprise Vendor Management policy.
Analyze and recommend solutions for moderate to complex problems.
Support recurring dashboards and scorecards for Vendor Managers.
Certifications Category: Risk
Work Arrangement Most roles at Fidelity are hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, Monday‑Friday) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to remote or fully onsite roles.
