IDR is seeking an Accounting Coordinator
to join one of our top clients in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role supports financial operations related to Treasury and Investment accounting, with a focus on assisting with the implementation of the Workday ERP system and process improvements within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Support the Workday implementation by converting Treasury and Investment journal entries, reconciliations, and workbooks to align with the new chart of accounts.
Assist with process improvements and automations for reconciliations and workbooks.
Perform detailed analysis of reports and supporting documentation between custodian reporting tools.
Support month‑end close responsibilities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Provide assistance to ensure a successful Workday transition and ongoing financial operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related business field from an accredited institution.
Solid understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles, particularly related to investments and footnote disclosures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements in accounting workflows.
