Conduct thorough validations of various model components to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
Analyze model inputs to assess data quality and appropriateness for model use
Evaluate model framework design and construction, including variable selection and testing procedures
Review model code for correctness and collaborate with model owners to resolve issues
Produce comprehensive validation reports for technical and non‑technical stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in model risk or data science, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in modeling techniques and programming languages (e.g., SAS, Python, R, SQL)
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to stress testing and capital planning
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics)
2+ years of relevant experience for consideration as a Risk Analyst III or 5+ years for Senior Risk Analyst position
