Job Summary This position, contingent upon contract award, supports the budget execution and financial management of a NAVAIR division. The analyst will provide accounting and cost data reporting, conduct quantitative analyses, develop budget estimates, and assist project managers in ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with project goals.

Primary Duties

Conduct quantitative analysis of financial data and provide recommendations to project managers for financial accuracy and alignment with objectives.

Develop budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures and regulations while analyzing budgeting and accounting reports.

Utilize Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N‑ERP) to perform financial execution functions and assist with data calls as required.

Support more experienced analysts by applying analytical techniques and contributing to financial management of projects.

Guide and collaborate with junior staff and senior team members to enhance project outcomes using analytical techniques.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience in financial management, including analysis of business programs and development of cost estimates.

Working knowledge of DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR), FAR, and PPBE processes.

Ability to perform detailed analysis of complex data to identify problems and recommend solutions.

Skill in applying financial management practices to ensure accurate metrics and reporting.

Strong customer‑relations, analytics, and documentation skills.

Self‑starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work effectively in a challenging, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Capacity to work independently and multitask within competing deadlines.

Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.

Clear verbal and written communication skills for status updates and issue reporting.

Adaptability to evolving technology.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business, financial, computer science, or information technology discipline.

Alternatively, an Associate's degree plus four (4) years of related work experience, or six (6) years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Minimum of three (3) years of relevant financial experience, including at least one (1) year with Navy or other DoD programs.

Security Clearance This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to complete a full background investigation.

Compensation and Benefits Estimated salary range: $62,000 – $92,000, subject to skills, education, location, and contract budgets. KAIROS also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
