Overview We are seeking a skilled CTEC Licensed Tax Preparer to join our team for next 2024 Tax Season, starting January. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, math, and accounting principles. Experience with financial software and QuickBooks is highly desirable for this role.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals or businesses
Analyze financial information to ensure taxes are paid correctly
Provide exceptional customer service and address any tax-related queries
Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Utilize financial concepts to optimize clients' tax situations
Collaborate with clients to maximize tax savings opportunities
Experience
Previous experience in tax preparation or related field is preferred
Proficiency in using financial software and QuickBooks
Knowledge of public accounting practices
Strong analytical skills to interpret and apply tax laws effectively
Ability to market tax services and attract new clients
