Senior Accountant Rockwall, TX - Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite
One of Vaco’s midmarket clients in the East Dallas area has given us the exclusive search to onboard a Senior Accountant due to continued growth of the company. They are looking for experience folks coming out of more dynamic environments with lots of moving parts (acquisitions experience HUGE plus). We’ve essentially helped rebuild most of the accounting team from scratch, starting with the Controller last year, and have received great feedback on company culture and leadership!
Compensation: 100-110K
Role
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close processes.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
Generate accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports and management presentations.
Ensure accounting policies, procedures and controls are consistently applied and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Requires strong communication and the ability to interact with several members of the accounting and finance team across the organization at varying levels.
Position will need to be self‑motivated with extensive U.S. GAAP knowledge, process implementation and internal controls experience.
