Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a highly skilled CEI Senior Inspector to join our team and support ongoing construction engineering and inspection efforts in the Fort Myers, FL area. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that major transportation and infrastructure projects are delivered in accordance with FDOT standards, contract requirements, and overall project objectives.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout

Marking and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests

Coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors

Performing work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Sets own project deadlines

Provides on the job training to new employees

Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties

Perform daily field inspections and maintain inspection records

Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning

Track quality assurance progress

Provide input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers

Qualifications Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work

Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review

Four (6) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction

CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I

CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)

CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I

CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II

CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I

CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II

CTQP Pile Driving InspectionCTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection

FDOT Intermediate MOT

Nuclear Radiation Safety

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $31 to $49 hourly.
