Key Responsibilities

Source, screen, and interview candidates for diverse manufacturing roles, including production operators, skilled trades, and quality technicians.

Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies for plant-level positions.

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume hourly roles and specialized technical positions within a production environment.

Coordinate pre-employment screenings such as drug tests, background checks, and physical assessments in accordance with manufacturing safety standards.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and participation in local industry events.

Utilize and optimize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate flow and report on key recruitment metrics for manufacturing hires.

Advise hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation, specifically for manufacturing talent acquisition.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience recruiting for roles within manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.

Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, roles, and technical requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for candidate and hiring manager engagement.

Demonstrated ability to conduct effective behavioral and competency-based interviews.

Bonus Qualifications

Familiarity with manufacturing processes, terminology (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, GMP), and technical roles.

Experience with enterprise-level ATS/HRIS platforms common in manufacturing (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle).

Proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search) for specialized talent.

Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and provide data-driven insights to optimize hiring strategies.
