Senior Accountant – Manufacturing & Construction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing and construction industry. The ideal candidate will manage a wide range of financial procedures—from accounts payable and receivable to financial reporting and job cost analysis—and help our organization maintain strong financial controls and accurate reporting.
Base Pay Range $80,000 – $100,000 per year
Responsibilities
Managing all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Overseeing job cost analysis to improve financial efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Assisting in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Participating in the ongoing development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external auditors.
Collaborating with the accounting team to streamline accounting functions and operations.
Providing guidance to junior staff and assisting with their training and development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA certification is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and job cost analysis. Experience in cost accounting is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical skills and thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear terms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.
