Travel Manager A top-tier international law firm is seeking an experienced Travel Manager to lead and continuously improve its domestic and global travel program.

Reporting to the Director of Travel, this role is responsible for delivering a seamless, compliant, and cost‑conscious travel experience for attorneys and business professionals across multiple offices.

Base pay range:

$100,000 – $132,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys and staff regarding travel inquiries, issues, and escalations, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

Partner with the Director of Travel to execute travel initiatives and support firm‑wide meetings, events, and special travel arrangements.

Oversee day‑to‑day travel operations to ensure efficiency, policy compliance, cost control, and a high‑quality traveler experience.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across domestic and international offices.

Develop and deliver training for travel arrangers and travelers, including policy education and traveler profile setup.

Support the implementation and ongoing use of global travel tools, technologies, and third‑party vendor solutions.

Analyze travel data, including spend, compliance, forecasting, and trend reporting, to support strategic decision‑making.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with administrative, finance, and business services teams.

Assist with special projects and respond to urgent or after‑hours travel needs when required.

Required Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience managing a corporate travel program within a global professional services environment.

Strong understanding of the global travel industry and key organizations (e.g., GBTA, ACTE).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with reporting and analytics.

Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, forecasting, and operational reporting.

Familiarity with administrative and facilities processes; experience in a legal environment is a plus.

Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem‑solving skills.

High level of discretion when handling sensitive travel and firm information.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

5+ years of progressive experience in corporate travel management, ideally within a law firm or professional services organization.

Deep knowledge of airline, hotel, and ground transportation programs and global travel operations.

Proven ability to manage vendors, policies, workflows, and multiple competing priorities.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $100,000 – $132,000 USD (based on experience and location)
