Leasing Consultant Reports to: Property Manager and/or Leasing Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Location: Provo, Utah
Firm Overview: Founded in 2003, PEG Companies is a vertically integrated owner, operator, and developer of multifamily, hospitality and build-to-rent assets in the U.S. and Canada with a focus on the Mountain West. PEG currently manages over $2B of AUM across seven commingled funds and various separate accounts with over 1,100 employees.
Responsibilities: This is a full-time position at a designated location responsible for the successful marketing, leasing, and retention at their assigned community. To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate two years of firsthand property management of residents, marketing, and financial management, including the following:
Assist in managing the leasing process, including advertising properties, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease terms.
Ensuring accurate and compliant lease documentation.
Handling resident inquiries and resolving issues promptly?
Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract potential residents.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to adjust leasing strategies.
Ensuring all property listings are advertised correctly and efficiently.
Maintaining positive relationships with residents by addressing and resolving any complaints.
Ensuring resident satisfaction and fostering a positive living environment.
Overseeing rent collection and ensuring timely payment from residents.
Preparing reports on leasing activity and occupancy rates.
Supervising and guiding leasing agents and staff.
Setting leasing goals and monitoring performance.
Collaborating with maintenance teams to address property upkeep and repairs.
Ensuring properties are well-maintained and meet safety and health standards.
Management Responsibilities: The Leasing Consultant will report directly to the Property Manager and/or the Leasing Manager.
Requirements
Expert in Microsoft Office applications, including the Yardi suite of products
Superb written and verbal skills
2 years of housing marketing and leasing experience
Recent fair housing and industry training.
Ability to work weekends.
Spirited initiative and resourcefulness

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk. (80% office work)
Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and/or keyboard and tolerate prolonged periods performing work using a computer, telephone, and/or keyboard.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Must be able to tolerate long periods of conducting in-person inspections of properties.
Must be able to tolerate climbing one flight of stairs and have the ability to walk a half mile per property approximately once per week.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable for company vehicles.
