Reports to: Accounting Manager
Location: Kent, WA (Onsite)
Schedule: Full Time, Non‑Exempt | Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
About the Role Are you ready to launch your accounting career and grow into a senior‑level role? We're looking for a Staff Accountant who is eager to learn, detail‑oriented, and motivated to develop their skills through hands‑on experience and mentorship. This position offers exposure to all facets of accounting: AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting, while providing a clear path for advancement.
What You'll Do
Support the Accounting Manager and Finance team with day‑to‑day accounting functions
Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes
Back up accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
Manage accounting for capital projects and fixed assets
Prepare operational reports and assist with audits
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus)
Experience: 0–2 years in accounting or finance; manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Skills
Intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas)
Familiarity with ERP systems (Infor SyteLine a plus)
Understanding of GAAP principles
Mindset
Team player with a proactive attitude
Strong organizational and communication skills
High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
Must Haves
Authorized to work in the U.S. An export license will be required to work in all areas of the facility; unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visa applicants
Able to pass a criminal and financial background check and pre‑employment drug screening
