Vinfen is seeking a Recruiter to join our busy HR team in the Lawrence, MA office. This Recruiter will focus on the sourcing, screening, and onboarding of qualified candidates. Activities and responsibilities will include placing advertisements, organizing job fairs and campaigns, screening applicants, and seeing candidates through the selection and onboarding process.
This recruiter must possess a professional, positive demeanor and be readily able to reach out to hiring managers to assess open positions and candidates. Additionally, this person must be innovative, task-oriented, and determined in developing techniques and activities that attract talent to the organization. This is a fast‑paced and unique opportunity to develop best‑practices in human services recruiting. This is a hybrid role with two days in office.
Responsibilities
Works under the direction of the Recruiting Manager to enact recruitment strategies and prioritize vacancies appropriately.
Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and to understand the program and services provided.
Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments, and makes recommendations for hire (or not hire).
Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within assigned areas.
Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
Meets with potential new hires to complete paperwork including I‑9, W‑4, and CORI background check forms.
Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Special projects and other duties, as assigned.

Typical Requirements A minimum of three years’ experience in administrative roles; a minimum of one year in a HR, recruiting, or related role.
Preferred / Required Education Associate’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. In some instances, experience may be substituted for academic degree.
Driving Requirements Driving is not required.
Physical Effort Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer. Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time as needed. Ability to bend, reach, file, sit, stand and move around the facility. Ability to speak, hear and communicate with persons served, staff and external representatives. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

Minimum of an Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for academic training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
All candidates must be at least 21 years of age and be able to satisfactorily pass a CORI and reference check.
Pay Range USD $57,000.00 - USD $59,000.00 /Yr.
