Distribution/Vegetation Management Asset Strategy Advisor

Pay Range Base pay: $140,400 – $210,500 per year. Actual compensation will be based on skills and experience.
Job Summary As a strategic consultant, you will develop, prioritize, project‑manage, and implement strategies for key programs related to distribution assets and vegetation management. You will provide expert guidance to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance, influence innovation, and deliver high‑impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in developing the long‑term vision and annual strategic plan for SCE, defining measurable targets for clean energy, electrification, grid of the future, and climate change programs.
Coordinate with business, technical, and regulatory teams to develop a multi‑year plan integrating key milestones.
Develop key presentations and collaborate with management for strategic planning decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment to the strategic plan.
Conduct periodic strategic reviews and market competitive analysis to identify business opportunities.
Prepare analysis, communicate business performance, and support scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
Analyze large datasets, apply time‑series and statistical analysis to identify optimization actions.
Ensure protection of company assets and proper handling of sensitive information.
Minimum Qualifications
Seven or more years of experience in strategic planning at the department or organizational level.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with utility asset management, asset inspections, or vegetation management.
Experience working with large amounts of geospatial and non‑spatial data.
Data quality analysis experience and performing high‑level spot checks.
Experience evaluating technical solutions, risk analysis, and cost‑benefit variables.
Experience developing communication materials (e.g., PowerPoint) and facilitating senior leadership discussions.
Experience integrating AI capabilities into real‑world solutions.
Experience coordinating or developing components of the General Rate Case or Wildfire Mitigation Plan.
Additional Information
The role’s work mode is hybrid with a requirement to work in California.
The primary work location is Pomona, CA; occasional travel to alternate locations may be required.
