HII - Mission Technologies seeks a Special Security Representative (SSR) to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Director of Strategic Information (DSI) in Woodlawn, Maryland. This is a full-time position that will work daily on-site. This CMS effort supports technology development, threat analysis, operations integration, training support, data analytics support, and technology transition assistance.
What You Will Do
Information Security Expert
Provide guidance to all individuals in accordance with Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO), Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO), Executive Order (EO)
Manage COMSEC program including but not limited to COMSEC custodian duties
Security container maintenance/inventory
Security forms for secure space/containers
Telecommunications/Automation Support
SVTC operations
Generic controlled access area administrative support
Visitor access control
Physical security of space
Assist all individuals with conference room reservations/preparations
Numerous other security discipline responsibilities dealing with classified information
Various administrative office responsibilities
Conduct self‑inspections
Conduct equipment inventories
Complete fixed facility checklists/TEMPEST checklists
Conduct security education program (SCI, Derivative Classification and NSI training)
Assist in writing policy and SOP’s
Operate/maintain access control and intrusion detection systems
Prepare DD254’s and review/prepare SOW/PWS security language
Process VAR's
What We Are Looking For
10 years relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 8 years relevant experience with master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
Requires active TS/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
