$23-$25 per hour plus generous benefits

Work location: On-site (no remote option)

Under the supervision of the Payroll Manager, the HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role involves data management, system maintenance, reporting, and ensuring the integrity of HR data. The HRIS Specialist collaborates with HR team members to enhance HR processes and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. The position is responsible for demonstrating YMCA leadership competencies to ensure the mission, purpose, image and core values of the YMCA of Greater Rochester are conveyed.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer and maintain the HRIS (Paylocity), ensuring accurate data entry, updates and reporting.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with Paylocity service team.

Ensure integrity and accuracy of employee data within system.

Create and customize reports as required.

Assist Payroll Manager with any projects and imports.

Assist with creation of basic training documents and HRIS processes

Identify opportunities to streamline or improve processes within Paylocity.

Assist with onboarding process during busy seasons.

Participate in HRIS upgrades, enhancements, and system implementations.

Attend all required meetings and trainings.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. Associate degree preferred.

Proven experience with administration of HRIS system; Paylocity preferred.

Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, maturity and must be able to work independently in busy environment and under pressure.

Detailed oriented a must.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to sit and use computer for extended periods of time.
