Mitigation Manager – Northridge / Los Angeles, CA (Restoration & Construction)

This is a full-time management role leading field mitigation operations throughout the Greater Los Angeles region. About the Role - What Does a Mitigation Manager Do?
Lead and develop a team of 5+ mitigation technicians serving customers throughout Northridge and the Los Angeles surrounding communities
Help residential and commercial clients recover from disasters such as fire, water, mold, storm, or biohazard events
Ensure mitigation projects are completed on time, on budget, and according to industry and company standards
Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating through modern technology platforms
Provide leadership, escalation support, and problem-solving for field operations

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $75,000–$90,000 (based on experience, qualifications, and certifications)
Bonus Structure: Profit-based performance bonuses

Required Qualifications
Insurance/TPA restoration industry experience REQUIRED
5+ years mitigation management experience overseeing field teams, including team management and development
Experience working with insurance carriers, TPA programs, and compliance requirements
Experience managing large-loss residential or commercial restoration projects
Strong customer service communication skills
Ability to work nights, weekends as needed
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to pass background check & drug screening
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT or equivalent)
Estimating experience with Xactimate and/or Symbility
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee water mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke mitigation, biohazard cleanup, tarping, and board-up services
Lead, train, mentor, and develop mitigation technicians in the field
Ensure project schedules, margins, documentation, and scope accuracy are achieved
Meet with clients and insurance adjusters onsite to resolve scope issues
Perform jobsite reinspections and quality control checks
Maintain company equipment, vehicles, and inventory readiness
Provide internal communication and collaboration with office/production departments
Respond urgently to customer concerns and escalation needs
Represent the Paul Davis brand with professionalism and integrity in the Los Angeles market
Location This position is based out of Northridge, CA and serves the Greater Los Angeles area, including nearby communities within the San Fernando Valley.
