Defending Against Modern Day Missile Threats Defending against modern day missile threats is a complex and ever-evolving challenge that requires a collaborative and innovative approach. By working together and leveraging cutting-edge technology, you can develop effective solutions to detect, control, and engage the full spectrum of missile threats across every domain.

The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.

As a member of the NGI team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system.

Roles and Responsibilities As a key member of the NGI Requirements team, you will provide key contributions to various groups within the Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) organization. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work closely with engineers from various disciplines.

Support all phases of the program lifecycle.

Produce key deliverables such as Product Specifications, CDRLs, Design Review OE, etc.

Work with technical SMEs across the program.

Develop a broad skillset across Systems Engineering and related disciplines.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline

Must be eligible and willing to obtain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance — U.S. Citizenship required

Desired Skills

Familiar with Systems Engineering processes across a product life cycle (e.g., design, requirements verification/validation, production, etc.)

Experienced with Requirements Development

Experience supporting or leading Technical Development Teams

Candidates with a Final Secret clearance desired.

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

9x80 every other Friday off
