We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Davenport, Iowa. This is a full time on-site role located at our client office. Only local candidates will be considered.
Role Responsibilities
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot hardware and devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners)
Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and devices
Diagnose and resolve software, operating system, and network issues
Interact with End Users to identify IT issues, provide clear explanations of resolutions, and offer timely updates
Respond promptly to user inquiries and requests, maintaining customer satisfaction and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Manage daily Incident and/or requests queue using an ITSM tool, documenting work and resolution notes
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of desktop and/or deskside experience
Ability to physically perform general office requirements (lift up to 50 lbs)
Highly Preferred Skills
Reliable personal transportation (Automobile)
Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred
Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment
Solid client service skills
A+ desktop or equivalent certification; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required
Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
Will travel minimally, only on an exception basis
