Senior Orbital Tube Weld Technician, Second Shift

About the Team The Stage Manufacturing team turns design into reality, owning the build of Terran R’s primary structures. Engineers and technicians work side by side, collaborating in real time to optimize for scale and improve processes. Opportunities exist to apply automation, machine learning, and advanced technologies.
This 2nd shift position runs 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM PT, Monday‑Friday, with a 10% shift differential. The role expects a 50‑hour workweek, including occasional overtime to meet operational goals.
About the Role
Set up and operate orbital tube welding machine and necessary purge equipment.
Prep, assemble, fit up, and tack complex fluid assemblies at elevated heights.
Verify weld quality visually and using a borescope system.
Collaborate with leadership and team members.
About You
4+ years of OTW experience.
Experience with welding and tacking.
Experience with aerospace mechanical assembly.
Comfortable working in a confined space.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with COPVs.
Experience with rigging and crane operations.
Familiar with AWS D17.1.
Experience with cutting tools.
