Position SQL Database Administrator
Location Whitehall, MI
Hybrid Arrangement
On-site 3 days a week.
Constraint: 2 remote days cannot be used on a Monday & Friday.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field or 6 years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with SQL Database Technologies.
Extensive experience with DBA front-end and back-end tools.
Hands‑on experience with SQL database management.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
Windows operating system experience.
Working knowledge and experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Proactively perform database monitoring and performance tuning.
Help implement and maintain DB security controls aligning with industry and regulatory requirements.
Assess incidents and vulnerabilities, monitor patching status, configuration baselines, and review results of compliance tests related to SQL technologies.
Assist infrastructure staff with understanding performance and capacity monitoring aspects.
Remain current on best practices and technological advancements and act as a technical resource for compliance.
Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and security standards.
