What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects within the Threat Detection Engineering domain
Collaborate with security engineers, software developers, and IT operations to define project requirements and goals
Utilize technologies such as Splunk, Cribl, Exabeam, and Google SecOps to guide project decisions
Develop and implement automations to enhance security operations and threat detection processes
Manage project risks and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
What is Required (Qualifications)
8+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field, with at least 3+ years in leading Detection Engineering Programs
Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts and experience integrating AI-driven workflows into security operations
Deep technical expertise in Splunk, Google SecOps, Detection Engineering, and Security Operations
Experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a cybersecurity environment
Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP) are highly desirable
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in tracking activities within various Security Operation workflows
Experience engaging with diverse team members and leading discussions around incident investigations
Strong project management skills and experience in navigating ambiguous requirements
