Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network security solutions.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network hardware.
Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
Ensure network security through best practices, access controls, and threat mitigation.
Provide technical support for network-related incidents and service requests.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes.
Collaborate with IT teams on upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
Manage network capacity, redundancy, and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar network technologies.
Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and general cybersecurity principles.
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent (preferred).
