R43166 Quality Manager This role is responsible for utilizing an established Quality Management System (QMS) and the fundamentals of Crosby Quality to identify opportunities to continuously improve our products and processes that ensure our customers’ success. The scope of this position includes product quality, supplier quality, and ISO 9001:2015 QMS.

YOUR IMPACT

Manage and improve an established quality management system.

Serve as the management representative to outside certification bodies

Management representative for the effective management and deployment of the QMS

Schedule and execute necessary internal audit program

Serve as administrator of the QMS SharePoint site and manage the compliance of all associated documents and processes

Manage and improve all aspects of a supplier quality program.

Collaborate with members of the Global Procurement Supply Chain (GPSC) to assist and ensure pre‑production approval of purchased parts and components

Assist, as needed, members of GPSC in the improvement of suppliers’ quality performance

Assist, as needed, members of GPSC in the performance of on‑site audits and/or meetings at supplier facilities

Collaborate with members of GPSC for the expeditious dispositioning and closure of MRR’s

Receive and manage Supplier Rework Cost Recovery (SRCR) to appropriate supplier and eventual submission for debit to Accounting

Oversee the application of product testing in all phases of manufacturing.

Oversee of the effective application of product testing throughout the manufacturing process

Serve as the primary point of contact to customers or other departments for all quality issues related to the manufacturing of the vehicle

Insist and communicate the quality objective of Zero Defects

Establish annual goals for each areas Quality metric

Training and career development of direct reports.

Lean Manufacturing champion.

Actively support all safety measures and requirements.

Participate daily in the Gemba/SQDC process.

Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion

MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on lean manufacturing and Quality Management Systems.

10 years of quality management experience

Obtain a passport and travel internationally

Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree

ASQ certification: CQE, CRE, CSQP

Lean Manufacturing

6‑Sigma

ASQ certification: CQE, CRE, or CSQP preferred

AWS trained and/or certified is desired

ISO 9001:2015

Pay Range: $102,800.00 - $176,800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
