We are seeking a skilled and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our established legal team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have
1-3 years of experience
handling personal injury cases, a strong litigation background, and a commitment to client advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death
Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and assess case value
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements
Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to reach favorable outcomes
Prepare for and conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the legal process
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage caseload efficiently
Stay current with New York personal injury laws and court procedures
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active NY Bar license in good standing
1 to 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation
Proven track record of successful case outcomes and client satisfaction
Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills
Excellent legal writing and research abilities
Ability to manage multiple cases with professionalism and attention to detail
