Logistics Supervisor – 1st Shift (Onsite Only) About the Role We’re looking for a
Logistics Supervisor
to lead and coordinate material flow in a fast-paced, Just-in-Time/Just-in-Sequence production environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll ensure 100% on-time delivery, optimize inventory, and drive operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Oversee
incoming goods, storage, and material supply
to production lines.
Train and manage
Material Handlers and Forklift Operators .
Ensure
timely provision of parts and containers
for assembly.
Coordinate
inbound/outbound shipments , including customs documentation.
Maintain compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO 14001 , and safety standards.
Lead audits, inventory checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with HR on personnel matters and team development.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
High School Diploma (Grade 12) required; Post-secondary in a related field preferred.
Experience:
3+ years in materials/logistics roles; supervisory experience in JIT/JIS environments.
Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Technical:
APICS/PMAC training, knowledge of MRO, Tier 1 experience a plus.
Languages:
English required; Spanish or German a plus.
Certifications:
Forklift operation and valid driver’s license.
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to
50 lbs
and work on your feet throughout the shift.
Comfortable in a
non-climate-controlled environment
with varying temperatures.
Adaptable to changing priorities and overtime as needed.
