Project Manager - Exploration Operations PMO

Job Purpose
Lead and manage cross‑functional exploration projects within Maaden's Exploration Operations PMO, ensuring project governance, operational excellence, and timely execution of early‑stage and advanced‑stage exploration programs. The role supports the Vice President in planning, resource allocation, performance tracking, and portfolio reporting.
Key Accountabilities
Project Planning & Execution
Develop and implement project plans for exploration campaigns.
Ensure alignment with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
Performance Monitoring
Track KPIs across drilling, licensing, EHSS, logistics, and field operations.
Provide monthly reports to senior leadership in line with MCIS_PM_03 standards.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Geoscience, Legal, ESG, Finance) and external contractors.
Support tendering, contractor performance oversight, and project approvals.
Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with EHSS protocols and governance policies.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
Portfolio Management
Consolidate project status reports for executive‑level decision‑making.
Support prioritization discussions, budgeting, and M&A evaluations.
Continuous Improvement
Drive innovation in exploration methodology, project delivery frameworks, and digital reporting tools.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Geoscience, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum Experience
8+ years of project management experience in mining or mineral exploration.
Demonstrated experience managing multi‑rig drilling programs, exploration logistics, and contractor oversight.
Knowledge of JORC and/or NI 43‑101 reporting standards preferred.
