Service Operations Specialist- Air Compressor Division
Job Location :Jacksonville, FL
Job Level :Entry Level (less than 2 years)
Coordinates, monitors and improves fields service activities forthe department by providing support to service technicians whoperform on-site routine services including installation,maintenance, and repair. Ensures fields services are effective bycollaborating with parts personnel to ensure jobs are ready toschedule. Establishes rapport with customers and ensures theirrequirements are met.
Essential Job Functions
Schedule service technicians daily in an efficient manner
Ensure the customer’s needs are appropriately met by openingwork orders and communicating with necessary team members to makesure they are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Ensure all service technicians have what they need to performtheir jobs according to schedule by working closely with the partsdepartment to make sure all parts are on hand for service jobs
Greet and assist service visitors in a professional, friendly manner
Manage various reports for accuracy
Daily management of the WIP (Work in Progress) report
Invoice completed work orders according to designationsestablished by the department manager
Manage the PM accounts to ensure parts lists are accurate
Track open work orders, parts status follow-up, and work order scheduling
Manage the PM accounts to ensure the parts are ordered forupcoming month at least two weeks prior to the next month
Ensure package care customers are serviced and invoiced properlyand on time
Additional Job Functions
May be asked to conduct customer follow-up on how service was performed
Assist, as needed, with inputting and closing warranty claims onweb portal, maintaining office equipment in ready for use status(refill paper tray, toner, schedule preventativemaintenance/repairs as needed)
Additional duties as assigned
Experience and Skills Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including physical and work environment)
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles relating to invoices
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel,Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer as well as the ability to learnthe Company’s business information system
Must be able to maintain and protect the confidentiality of allCompany proprietary information and trade secrets
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as acceptdirection from Management
Must be able to complete high volumes of work with accuracy and efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to apply teamwork principles when working with Company personnel
Work environment requires exposure to computer screen,typing/mouse usage, climbing, and extended periods of sedentary work.
Ability to lift materials up to 10 pounds
Minimum Job Qualifications (education, workexperience, licenses/certifications)
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 1 year of related workexperience or training, or an equivalent combination of educationand experience
