What You Will Do
Research and recommend upgrades/optimizations of deployed technologies.
Lead in network infrastructure design and implementation (LAN, WAN, WLAN), with heavy emphasis on MPLS in a campus environment and cloud integrations.
Manage, support, and troubleshoot complex network topologies and systems (Route/Switch, Wireless, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPN).
Conduct packet capture analysis and troubleshooting.
Participate in on‑call rotation and work flexible hours as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related technical discipline from a regionally accredited institution AND 5 years’ experience as a network administrator.
Alternatively, an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Prefer experience and substantial knowledge in most of the following areas:
Networking (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SDWAN)
Cisco Catalyst/Nexus platforms, Cisco Prime, Arista, Aruba, and Extreme wireless
Firewalls: Cisco, Palo Alto, SonicWall
VPN: Cisco, Palo Alto
Load Balancers: Citrix, F5
Data Center technologies (VXLAN, ACI)
Must work evenings, weekends, holidays as required to provide support and maintenance for systems, and to ensure 24/7 support and troubleshooting.
Must be willing to participate in on‑call rotation.
Must be able to pass pre‑employment background check.
