Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Orlando, FL – 100% onsite. Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8‑5 PM. Duration: 6‑month contract to hire.
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician with strong customer service skills, reliable transportation, and 3–5 years of deskside support experience. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Provide on‑site technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.
Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software issues.
Travel to client locations as required to deliver timely support.
Ensure all work meets established service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines.
Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with a wide range of users and environments.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting desktops, laptops, and printers.
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CompTIA A+ Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
OEM Printer Warranty Certifications.
OEM Laptop/Desktop Warranty Certifications.
Experience with Lexmark printers.
Server support experience.
