Data Privacy Specialist (She/ He/ They) Location: Poland (Warsaw)

Capco is a leading technology and management consultancy focused on digital transformation in the financial sector. We are seeking a dedicated Data Privacy Specialist to join our Poland office.

Responsibilities

Handle operational data privacy cases.

Respond to privacy‑related queries from business stakeholders.

Define requirements for capability enhancements and changes.

Conduct data quality scans, regular process reviews, and documentation updates to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Perform impact assessments, manage data incidents, and report risk metrics and operational KPIs.

Drive awareness and training, and communicate to strengthen privacy culture across the organization.

Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on data privacy management.

Review and advise on changes to technology applications, products, or operational processes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in a relevant role (e.g., Compliance, Legal, Audit) or in a data & privacy domain within a large organization.

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Compliance and Governance, Auditing/Finance/Risk or equivalent (minimum requirement).

Good understanding of Data & Privacy policies and standards, including but not limited to GDPR.

Experience with risk management and internal control frameworks.

Ability to optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness while complying with requirements.

Certifications in data privacy are a plus (CIPP, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM).

Highly motivated with strong track record of achievement.

Good team player; ability to work well in teams as well as independently.

Ability to provide guidance to junior members.

Hold multi‑tasking skills and work under tight deadlines.

Excellent critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
