Program Overview Provide technical services to the Security Services Product Line, including specialized accreditation activities. Deliver enterprise‑level network, server, desktop, and application security services support.
About the Role Peraton seeks a senior Systems Administrator to join our team in the Fort Meade, MD / Annapolis Junction, MD area. The team delivers information security solutions that facilitate secure data flows, detect unauthorized behaviors, perform system security vulnerability assessments, develop solutions, and provide enterprise‑level network, server, desktop, and application security services.
Responsibilities
Support design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Perform system security vulnerability assessments and implement solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted (totaling 20 years of SA experience).
DoD 8570 compliance with minimum IAT Level 2.
Experience supporting the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
Understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Experience analyzing and resolving complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Demonstrated experience with Linux.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Salary and Benefits Target salary range: $176,000 – $282,000. Salary is determined by factors including scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, geography, and contract considerations. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
