Onboarding Process Candidates must complete a background check and pre‑employment health screening, including a drug screen.
Summary Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in applying x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients from newborn to elderly. Is multi‑skilled in mammography and performs procedures in bone density. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
Responsibilities
Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs; assists practitioners with percutaneous localizations and aspirations of the breast.
Optimizes mammography procedures by completing QA‑QC protocols.
Qualifications
Education
Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Preferred:
Associate degree
Certifications
Required:
ARRT (R, M), state license if required
Required Alabama ONLY:
ARRT (R), state license if required; must obtain Mammography credential within 1 year of hire or placement in role.
