BIM Coordinator

to work from our

Green Bay, Wisconsin

office. The role offers learning experiences, career growth, and the chance to contribute to client success.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and manage project BIM execution plans and design coordination timelines.

Create and enforce BIM standards, standard work, protocols, and best practices across the business unit.

Ensure understanding of CAD and BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within teams and projects, including drawing standards and client specifications.

Follow industry best practices for design and BIM coordination.

Select appropriate BIM software tools for each project and advise on CAD file types.

Serve as the data and information management focal point for project design models, related data, and resulting files; manage data storage and facilitate access.

Support software configuration and updates to maintain optimal performance.

Lead creation and review of federated models, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and parametric designs.

Identify design and coordination issues/conflicts in federated models and ensure compliance with BIM and CAD standards.

Lead interdisciplinary coordination meetings and resolve design and coordination conflicts with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Provide training and guidance to team members on CAD and BIM software, standards, and workflows.

Support development of point clouds, meshes, and other inputs to 3D models from 3D scanning data.

Support selection, training, and use of design collaboration and CAD/BIM software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience.

At least 7 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or equivalent role in a relevant industry.

Recent experience with the Autodesk product line.

Preferred Qualifications

10 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or equivalent role in a relevant industry.

Recent experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) including Docs, BIM Collaborate/Pro, and Build.

Experience with AutoCAD (Plant3D, Electrical, 3D), Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, MEP design, laser scanning, point cloud data, and visualization/VR/AR software.
