Job Summary Arthur Center Community Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Electronic Health Records (EHR) Information Technology Specialist to join our IT team. This position supports and assists with all electronic healthcare records resources and related issues. You will focus on optimizing the utilization of information technology to improve care and integration of clinical and financial processes, workflows, and data. Key Responsibilities and Skills
Resolves and communicates status of all Tier 1 type service tickets for the EHR system.
Assures that the organization is compliant with HIPAA security standards related to EHR operations.
Assists with EHR database management and reporting.
Works with clinical staff in reporting accurate information and building reports in the EHR that assist in monitoring quality.
Works closely with software vendors relating to the Organization’s EHR functionality to assure that the organization’s technology investment is realized on an operational level.
Assists with monthly EHR-related data reporting.
Assists in designing and conducting effective training on EHR and software for employees on using the information systems in collaboration with financial and clinical staff.
Stays abreast of the information technology field through continuing education and networking with other professionals in the community health center and community mental health fields.
Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with a team
Strong sense of ethics and confidentiality
Familiarity in network and equipment security
Ability to work with human service professionals.
Solid working knowledge of FQHC/CCBHO operations.
Ability to work multiple high priority tickets simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of and experience with Electronic Health Record functionality (Nextgen preferred).
Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree in technology-related area preferred.
2 years work experience in EHR and/or technology support-related field.
