About the Position We have an immediate opening for a
Low Voltage Systems Technician
in
Columbus, OH . The role requires proven experience installing structured cabling and additional experience mounting and connecting end devices for Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm systems.
What You'll Do
Install Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm systems.
Install structured cabling, including Cat‑6/6A jack terminations at patch panels and faceplates.
Read and interpret low‑voltage plans and schematics.
Troubleshoot and repair network and control systems.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA).
Prior work experience on large construction site projects under supervision of a Project Manager and/or Lead Technician.
OSHA card required; manufacturer’s certifications (BICSI Installer, BICSI Installer Plus, BICSI Installer‑Plus, BICSI IS‑Installer) are a plus.
Strong safety‑first mentality and quality‑oriented, self‑motivated work ethic.
Professional appearance and ability to represent the company image.
Physical Requirements
Lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Transfer 100 lbs. 12 feet with assistance.
Work outdoors in diverse environments.
Ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures.
Work from heights using an elevated aerial device.
