Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
in the South Charlotte area. We provide ABA therapy across the Charlotte Metro region, with opportunities to work one‑on‑one with learners in their home, the community, or our clinics.
Pay Range $17.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Availability Afternoon availability is strongly preferred. Ideal times are 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
Work in a one‑on‑one setting to provide highly individualized skill‑building and learning opportunities in accordance with each child’s treatment plan.
Implement best‑practice, whole‑child approaches using positive reinforcement, natural environment teaching, and discrete trial instruction.
Collect and record data to support treatment effectiveness.
Qualifications
Experience working with children; priority to experience in ABA with learners who have autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or behavior challenges.
Strong communication skills and professional conduct.
Team player with reliable transportation.
Sense of humor and strong work ethic.
Skill in multi‑tasking.
Flexible thinking and open mind for continued learning.
Commitment to the role for at least six months.
First Aid and CPR certification (training provided).
Evening availability between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Complete RBT training (40 hours of online modules, paid training) and submit to the RBT exam.
