ISCO has grown into a global piping solutions provider with more than 30 facilities across the United States and Canada. They have developed and honed custom fabrication and spooling ability. Their fabricators have decades of experience making HDPE structures such as manholes, tanks, fittings, geothermal vaults, and more. ISCO also makes sure every project has the right equipment by selling and renting tools and fusion equipment. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Reporting to the Vice President IT, the IT Project Manager to drive the execution of strategic technology initiatives supporting ISCO’s growth. This role will be central to the plan to scale IT capabilities, improve operational excellence, and deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, a passion for process improvement, and the leadership qualities needed to help mature the project management discipline and support the evolution of the IT organization.
IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT (Business Systems and Infrastructure Projects)
Collaborate with business and technology leaders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with ISCO’s strategic priorities.
Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Coordinate resources, manage project teams, and oversee third-party contractors or consultants.
Track milestones, deliverables, and project health using appropriate tools; communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
Proactively identify potential IT risks and develop strategies to address them.
Represent project management interests in steering committee meetings and cross-functional forums.
Facilitate/participate in agile events with the development team, supporting the adoption of Agile practices and continuous improvement.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE
Assist in forecasting and tracking resource capacity, utilization, and availability across the IT portfolio.
Develop and implement best practices for project execution, intake, and reporting.
Support the creation of unified dashboards for IT initiatives and project status.
Identify and implement tools that will enable sound project management methodologies.
Conduct postmortems and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
Assist in building and formalizing the IT Steering Committee and its policies, procedures, and governance.
STRATEGIC IMPACT
Align IT delivery with business value: Ensure projects are prioritized and executed to maximize ROI, operational efficiency, and customer impact.
Drive process standardization: Build repeatable processes for project intake, execution, and reporting to support scalable growth.
Enable data-driven decisions: Support the development of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that provide visibility into project portfolio and outcomes.
Champion change management: Lead efforts to improve training, adoption, and communication for new systems and processes.
Translate technical jargon for business leaders and business needs for tech teams, ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy.
Support IT maturity journey: Help ISCO progress from stabilization to standardization, strategy, and scale, as outlined in the IT roadmap.
IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred
Five or more years of IT project management experience with responsibility for high impact projects
Strong familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project
Experience defining processes, improving workflows, and implementing project governance within a PMO
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and influence without authority
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills
Experience with IT financials, business case development, or IT governance helpful
