Role Summary As a SIL Test Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and performance of our embedded software. You will design Software-in-the-Loop test frameworks and tools that will be used across the organization to develop and test software features in a simulated environment. You will work closely with Controls engineers and Systems engineers across the full life cycle of feature development.
Responsibilities
Develop Python‑based tools for Software-in-the-Loop testing
Implement CI/CD best practices to ensure embedded C code is regularly tested
Work with software developers and systems engineers to define testing use cases
Contribute to increasing overall test coverage
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor of Science degree (Master’s Preferred) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or related fields
Proficient in software development processes and relevant tools
Proficiency with C/C++, Python, Mako
Understanding of industry‑standard software build systems (e.g. Bazel, SCons)
Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Irvine, California Based Applicants: $85,600 - $107,000 USD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
