Our client, a fast‑growing tech start‑up based in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks an experienced and proactive

Office Admin/Administrative Assistant

to serve as the operational hub for a growing organization. The role is a key partner to the executive team (primarily supporting the CEO) and supports operations to keep the office running smoothly in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. It offers high visibility and the chance to directly influence the company’s next stage of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily office operations and serve as the primary contact for internal staff, external vendors, and visitors.

Manage and maintain the physical office space, including equipment, utilities, and security protocols.

Document and improve office procedures to support efficiency and growth.

Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and purchasing of office supplies, services, and equipment.

Provide high‑level support to executive leadership, including complex scheduling and meeting coordination.

Plan and prepare for internal and external meetings, creating presentations or materials as needed.

Handle confidential correspondence, reports, and documentation with discretion and professionalism.

Partner with leadership to evaluate and recommend tools, systems, and processes that improve workflow and operational effectiveness.

Assist with onboarding new employees (workspace, IT setup, introductory materials).

Other general office support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience:

5+ years in office management, administrative leadership, or executive support roles.

Executive Partnership:

Prior experience working directly with executives and serving as a partner in decision‑making processes.

Technical Proficiency (Required):

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build trust across teams.
