The Department of Justice Information Technology Division is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of new business applications and continuous support of existing applications for the Department of Justice. The Division is responsible for supporting all networking associated with the DOJ computers, for assessing needs for required hardware and system products needed to support the infrastructure and for operating a Customer Support Center (CSC). The infrastructure is a mission critical environment supporting the Department and criminal justice users. The Division is constantly engaged in research and planning to position its environment to be consistent with North Carolina’s statewide technical architecture as well as mandates from the General Assembly.
This position work with our user base to solve server-related issues including permission and access issues. Provides support for DOJ users in restoring deleted or lost files. Utilize ITD backup system and software to effectively assist users in restoring files and/or databases to resolve issues.
This position provides support for NCDOJ Security Operations Center tasks. This includes using MS Defender Suite of tools to remediate cyber threats to our M365 and on-premises environments.
This position installs, configures and maintains physical servers and equipment in the DIT Eastern and Western Data Centers.
This position will serve as backup for other team members on the infrastructure team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Management Preferences Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate VMware Certified Professional – VMware vSphere Foundation Administrator Experience creating automation tools with PowerShell
