Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist III performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision to technical detail, using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. The role includes independent judgement to apply prescribed procedures such as angiography, cardiac cath, CT, MRI, and mammography.

Responsibilities Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgement and initiative. Assume responsibility for specific radiographic procedures including angiography, cardiac cath, CT, MRI, and mammography.

Qualification Minimum Requirements

Diagnostic technologist with 2 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology and competence in one additional modality (CT, MRI, Angio, Cardiac Cath, Ultrasound, or Mammography)

OR diagnostic technologist with 5 years of work experience in diagnostic radiology

Demonstrate competence in all diagnostic fluoroscopic and surgical radiography procedures

Registered ARRT

CRT Certification

Current CPR‑AHA Certification

Special Skills

Working knowledge of all basic and special diagnostic imaging equipment

Knowledge of departmental protocols and procedures

Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff, physicians, and patients

Effective oral and written communication skills

Self‑motivated and organized

Ability to work independently and as a functional team member in a team‑oriented environment

Ability to assist in training and teaching students and new staff members

Capability to fill in for the department supervisor as needed

Pay Range $49.27 – $58.13 per hour
