Through comprehensive services—including housing support, workforce development, education assistance, and life‑skills training—we help participants achieve long‑term stability and independence.

Position Summary The Job Developer plays a vital role in supporting program participants as they secure meaningful employment and vocational training opportunities. This position focuses on building strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and community organizations to identify job placements that align with participants’ skills, experience, and career goals. The Job Developer provides individualized employment planning, job readiness support, and ongoing follow‑up to promote long‑term employment retention.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized employment plans based on participants’ skills, experience, and career objectives.

Build and maintain relationships with local employers, industry partners, and community organizations to create job opportunities for participants.

Educate employers about available hiring incentives, including the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and fidelity bonding programs.

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of employer contacts, job openings, and placement outcomes.

Assess job requirements and training needs and support participants in meeting employment qualifications.

Refer participants to appropriate employers, vocational training programs, educational institutions, or community resources.

Provide job readiness services such as resume development, mock interviews, and workplace preparation.

Assist participants in obtaining required employment documentation and creating or updating resumes.

Provide follow‑up support after job placement to assist with job retention and address workplace challenges.

Support participants who experience job loss in securing new employment opportunities.

Requirements

Must successfully pass a fingerprint clearance and comprehensive background check, including criminal history, employment, education verification, and personal references.

Education

High school diploma or GED (High School Equivalency Certificate) required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Experience and Skills

Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Job Developer, Case Manager, or in a related human services role.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills.

Ability to work effectively with individuals facing employment barriers.
