Responsibilities
Drafting pleadings
Preparing discovery
Filing documents with the court
Calendaring
Preparing trial exhibits
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years estate planning/probate experience in TX (5+ years preferred)
Associate’s degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Excellent typing skills and computer literacy, including a solid understanding of MS Office and/or Google Suite applications
Proficiency with Clio and TxDoc or similar software
Proficiency to focus on details, handle multiple tasks, and remain highly organized
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Professional demeanor and positive communicator
Benefits
Competitive Pay: $40K-$80K, plus an attractive billable hour bonus plan paid every two weeks, earning up to $35K more annually
