Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford, P.A. is actively seeking motivated Associate Attorneys to join our dynamic litigation teams in the
West Palm Beach Office . We are looking for candidates with 2 to 8 years of experience, specifically in general liability and professional liability matters, to provide an excellent opportunity to handle complex cases in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions.
Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers.
Develop litigation strategies in close collaboration with senior attorneys and partners.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials.
2 to 8 years of experience in general liability and/or professional liability defense preferred.
Active license to practice law in good standing.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with a writing sample required.
Excellent communication and advocacy capabilities.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Candidates should demonstrate a readiness to take on significant responsibility while being team oriented.
