A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in personal injury law and extensive experience in complex litigation cases.
Duties
Conduct initial case evaluations and assess the viability of potential personal injury claims.
Investigate claims and gather evidence to build strong cases.
Develop legal strategies and arguments for cases.
Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Represent clients in court and at mediation or settlement conferences.
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel or insurance companies.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and advice.
Manage a caseload effectively and efficiently.
Stay informed about changes in personal injury law and legal precedents.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience managing support staff and/or other attorneys.
Passionate about advocating for clients' rights.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active license to practice law in the state.
Skills
