Litigation Paralegal
you will develop legal strategies, supervise paralegal staff, and support litigation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Training: Lead, mentor, and develop foreign paralegal staff, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.
Discovery Craftsmanship: Independently propose and respond to discovery requests from scratch, developing tailored strategies based on case specifics.
Jury Charge Development: Prepare precise jury charges and use them to draft petitions, complaints, and discovery aimed at gathering key evidence.
Legal Drafting: Draft comprehensive petitions, pleadings, and complaints for state and federal courts, addressing all relevant legal elements.
Evidence Analysis: Review and analyze discovery records, draft motions to compel, and ensure accurate presentation of case information.
Deadline Management: Monitor and adhere to all court deadlines and statutes, guaranteeing timely and error‑free document submission.
Trial Preparation: Assemble flawless trial binders and prepare all materials to support attorneys in court.
Motion Drafting: Draft legal motions as needed, applying in-depth analysis and clear articulation of legal arguments.
Remote Work: Perform all duties in a fully remote working environment with high standards of performance and accountability.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience specializing in Texas plaintiff’s personal injury law and complex litigation.
Ability to independently draft and respond to discovery requests and develop tailored legal strategies.
Proficient in crafting jury charges and aligning petitions with key case elements.
Exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
Leadership ability to train, supervise, and inspire junior and foreign paralegals.
Comfortable working remotely while maintaining high performance and accountability.
